#StrongChallenge: TAKE A WALK Get outside for 15 minutes (or longer, if you’d like) and take a walk. As you do, talk to God as you would a friend—you can do this out loud or in your head, if you’re concerned about what the neighbors will think—and listen for any way God might communicate with you. When you get back, write down anything you feel like you might have heard from God on your walk. Why? Sometimes it’s hard just to sit still and pray. Getting active, away from distractions and a change of scene can help. Jesus did the same thing. (See Mark 1:35) (Tip: turn off your ringer and iPod to minimize distractions so you can focus on connecting with God.)
