Once we reached the top reality still didnt hit what we had just done... -22 when we got to summit!!! The guides were amazing to us all.. Loved every bit of it... Dee Cullinane: summit night was the terrifying, thrilling, and most surreal experience, we battled blizzard conditions and a wind chill off -22, but was all worth it when we reached the summit! Cant believe we made it and cant thank my guide Peter enough as doubt I would have reached the summit without all his help and encouragement, thank you to all of my team who helped me along the way with words of encouragement, laughter, banter and making this a trip of a lifetime! Summit night will be etched in my memory for life......... Karen cronin: summit night was a night to remember with -22 temperatures and strong winds made it a hard climb but reaching the summit made it all worth while. Had a fantastic experience which Ill never forget..... Eilish OBoyle: Summit night was something I will never forget.... It was challenging and pushed me to my very limits. There were times when I wondered would we ever get there but with the help of our wonderful guides I dug deep and kept on going. I can do it was my mantra that night.... One step in front of the other..... Focusing on small goals along the way helped me reach Uhuru...the summit of Kilimanjaro.... I was overcome with a mixture of sheer relief, exhaustion and a whole gamut of emotions once I reached summit. So happy to share this experience with so many amazing girls and of course Mike. What a team! We will be friends for life. Tired but happy now....but to be honest what we have achieved hasnt really sunk in yet. xxx Leone Levis: WE DID IT.. -22degrees Freezing.. Freezing.. Freezing..... Amazing Dream Team Samantha Heaton: Summit night was like something out of this world, trekking in the dark, in freezing conditions, felt the wind would almost drag me off the mountain! Had to really dig deep to keep going up and up and up and up...seemed never ending!! But we were all in it together and we worked as a team to get to the top, the guides were amazing and helped us every step of the way! Still cant believe I made it to the top-what an achievement, one of my proudest moments!! I did it for myself, the Girls Club and for all my family, friends and boyfriend who supported me along the way and of course in memory of my wonderful mom! Laura Murray: An amazing experience from start to finish! An ambition I always had but never thought Id be able for! Thanks to Ann for bringing us all together for this once in a life time experience! Pat and his team who went above and beyond the call of duty for us on the mountain! Summit night was one of the hardest things Ive ever done, the mind numbing cold at -22... But we did it and we waved our flag with pride at summit. Thanks to my family and friends for theyre support over the last few months! And our team The Dream Team.... We did it ladies and Mike.....!!!! Eimear OGrady It was always on my bucket list and Im delighted that it became a reality. Eimear OSullivan - delighted to have made it to the top for myself, on behalf of my friend Ciara and in memory of family and friends who passed due to cancer. The sight of sunrise breaking as we climbed towards the summit is something that will stay we me forever. The support from Pat and the team allowed us all to reach this important goal. I got a lot more from this personally than I expected and was also so proud to do it with a team and for others. XxxEims Grace Maloney - the night of the summit was by far the most toughest night of my life, physically, emotionally and mentally. The early stages of the night one of the guides had to take my bag and carry it as I thought I was going to faint and throw up, the altitude was really starting to get to me. While I was walking I was falling asleep and whoever was behind had to keep telling me to wake up. I will never forget the cold, even our eyelashes turned to ice. By the time we got to Stella point I really didnt think id make it, one of the guides had to link me up to the summit. Only for them I wouldnt have made it they were doing everything for me, I owe them my life. It all seems a blur now but I feel so proud I made it up and back safely I would like to thank pat and all the team for such a wonderful experience xx patfalvey Irelands leading adventure company for your next adventure.
