"Surrender" Have you surrendered all to the Lord? Have you given up trying to work it out yourself and placed all in the hands of your heavenly father? Sometimes we will pray and ask God to move upon a situation and then turn around and try to handle it ourselves. We put temporary trust in God and when it seems as if God is not moving as we think He should, we pick up and try to do it ourselves. Have you surrendered all to the Lord? Have you surrendered your controlling issues, your will and ways? Have you given them to the Lord? Some of us still need to let go and give it to the Lord. We must stop trying to do everything and rest in the able arms of God. We must believe and have faith, that God will work it out for the good. It may not always look like it is working for our good, but it is indeed working according to the plan and purpose of God and that is for the good! And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose; Romans 8:28. You have been chosen, called and predestined! You do not belong to yourself but to almighty God!
