~Sweet Melody~ Lost in the embrace, Of a pleasant dream Awaiting the arrival, Of my beautiful queen I often listen, To the song of birds Enjoying their sweet melody Without any words Pausing; I managed to breath in a sigh Watching as they take to the sky A better man I try to be For this hardship in life, As it is always teaching me How much strength, Do I need each night To always have you, Within my sight I am hurting somewhere, That only you can touch In the shallow depths, I fall Brutal visions blocked, By my painful wall My knees start to buckle, As I hit the floor Then I see you smile at me, When you open up the door © The Humble Poet ©
