#TBT for this week: Where were you when you found out on 9/11/01? I was at school. I was a sophomore in college. I had just gotten out of a history class and my mom had called me to tell me someone was bombing the world trade center. I couldnt really understand it. One of the buildings on campus had a movie sized screen in the lobby. I passed through there and it was packed. They were playing footage of the events as they happened. The second tower fell while I was watching it. Later on Id heard in the news that one of the planes actually turned around over or near our school. They sent us all home. I went over to Mimi and Papas, they sent home Mimi from work too. She was a state worker. I spent 5 hours waiting to donate blood. I also flew a flag on my car for the next year. It got beat to hell, but I kept it up for a year. How about you?
