****THE COUNTDOWN TO TURKEY IS ON - 11 DAYS**** Each day I will post a photo, a promise from Scripture, and a prayer request. Would you join me in these days by affirming the promise and interceding in prayer? “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. --Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. --Philippians 3:13-14 NIV As the old year ends, 2015 provides numerous opportunities to forget about the past and focus on all the new opportunities in the future. For the first time in my life I will live overseas and do what I love most - seek to equip women and men in love with Jesus to do the work of ministry. Please pray for me as I experience newness of life in the year ahead, forgetting the limitations of the past and focusing on the limitless possibilities in the present and the future. Pray that I could concentrate on building disciples and bringing great glory to God as I serve in Turkey.
