THE HOUR HAS COME It is akin to an El Classico political match of seemingly political equality between two heavy weights slugging it out for the very soul of the coveted seat of the Uyo Senatorial District in the hallowed Green Chamber of the Nigerias Senate today as a young vibrant and much loved OBA take to the unpredictable political turf today to test his acceptability against a grandmaster who from all political perspective, seems to have the backing of the powers that be in Abuja. Political analysts from all indications are favourably disposed to the later, going by his antecedent as a cat with the provebial nine life, but in the murky waters of politics such gambling is far too risking a venture to embark upon. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the emerging current trend in the State politics undermines the validity in the powers of incumbency as the list is endless from Robinson Uwak, the State Assembly men, THE MAN, ATIKU , ALOYSIUS(personal prediction) and many others to follow after todays nomination. The result of this very nomination will rouse a heavy cloud of dust irrespective of where the pendulum of victory swing later today, but for my hard earned money,after gazing repeatedly at my Yet-to -lie crystall ball, the answer of what i saw and what will actually happen will send a cool shiver down the spine of even a fervent cynic. Since it is not in the ethics of journalism to take side, but political neutrality far from being ideal is downright impossibility, hence what i gleaned from my ancient crystall ball stable is hereby boldly written out for posterity sake: EXPECT UPSET TODAY.
