THE MEETING (Maybe Including, and Going Beyond the Middle - TopicsExpress

THE MEETING (Maybe Including, and Going Beyond the Middle East) World-centric, love-centered Beloved Agape is calling a meeting. There are numerous invitations. Among those attending are: cerebral Logos and passionate Pathos, wise Sophia, Eros, Filia, and Beloved Agape of course, and a real surprise, guess who -- Rumi, the jurist, theologian, Sufi mystic, player of reed flute and Persian poet laureate. Surely there will be music, dancing, poetry, and a drinking of mystery wine in which we all-in-all in soul-shining sun become one. Rumi -- originally from Persia, born September 30, 1207, died December 17, 1263, now living most everywhere, in the heads and hearts of humanity. Rumi -- whose soul-colored words glimmer and shimmer with hope like rainbows oer darkened clouds, sketches a care-frontational context for our crucial conversations: Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field. Ill meet you there. Rumis Field, our field is a field of possibility, a field of Love. Together we are building it, together we may come. We may declare a truce, sign a treaty, pledge an oath, commit to caring, all for one, one for All. Filia will be pleased. Agape will be most accommodating, and Eros will jump for joy, Yall come now! Join en- joy! Sophia is leaving de Light on. Double check the meeting-dance list -- things will be whirling and twirling. Our Beloved will take the lead. Make sure youve R.V.d. Come, come, whoever you are, Wanderer, idolater, worshiper of fire, Come even though you have broken your vows a thousand times, Come, and come yet again. Ours is not a caravan of despair ~ Ron Bell 8-3-14
