#THE POWER OF LIGHT# We Christians already possess every benefit of the resurrection life of Christ. However, what issues from Adam hinders the enjoyment and expression of Christ. Therefore, the important question is not how much we possess of Christ, but rather, how much we have lost of Adam. The first step in the Christian experience is knowing the Lord on the cross. The second step in advancing spiritual experience is possessing Chist as an indwelling reality. The more one abides in the light, the more one recognizes darkness. The more perfect one is, the more conscious one becomes of imperfections. Likewise, the more mature a believer becomes, the more he will feel his immaturity. One is always reluctant to leave the present ground of attainment to reach out to achieve a higher spiritual plateau. All of our spiritual experiences and exercises are the outcome of being drawn by Christ. No deliverance from any state of complacency is possible except by first beholding a new revelation of, and entreaty by , the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
