“THE PROPHETIC FATE OF EGYPT” COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF EGYPT IN END TIME PROPHECY! It’s time to look closely at the Prophecies relating to Egypt! Egypt is a very significant player in the End Time drama scenario according to the prophets of the Bible! Egypt has recently been in the forefront of the world news as a result of the popular overthrow of the thirty-year Mubarak government, and the subsequent election of a candidate put forth by the Muslim Brotherhood! Many around the world have high hopes for Egypt, believing that good can come out of the so called Egyptian “democratic” revolution but with subsequent events, those hopes of an “Arab Spring” are fast fading! Egypt had already taking its new-found “freedom” as an opportunity to persecute its own indigenous Christians, the Copts. Within weeks of Mubarak’s downfall, disturbing accounts have surfaced of church burnings, anti Christian riots, murders, shootings, and a video of the Egyptian army assaulting a monastery, shooting at unarmed monks and destroying an Abbey with armored personnel carriers! Those who undermined and unseated Mubarak have also taken the opportunity to publicly renounce the thirty year peace treaty with Israel and to clamor for war against the Jews! Ironically, the scriptures tell us that Egypt indeed does have a bright future, but not as an outcome of some democratic revolution! The revolution that toppled Mubarak had disintegrated into an open Muslim persecution against Coptic Christians, and calls for Israel to be annihilated in the name of Islam! Amazingly, in the midst of the toppling of the Mubarak government, the foreign ministry of Egypt successfully brokered an agreement between bitter rivals Fatah and Hamas, which allows them to form a unity government in the so called “Palestinian Authority”. This in effect legitimizes Hamas, an unrepentant anti Israel terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of Israel as a valid partner that Israel must negotiate with for “peace”. In Prophecy Egypt is going to suffer a harsh night of tribulation before the breaking of the dawn, according to both Isaiah and Ezekiel, Isaiah 19:16-17 - In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the King of Hosts, which he shaketh over it! And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the King of Hosts, which he hath determined against it! Egypt will be seized by a mortal fear, particularly of the Jews, and Yahuah himself is in that fear! Keep in mind that Egypt in the past was point man for the Arab world in four major modern wars with the state of Israel. The Arab coalition enjoyed the advantage of superior numbers, firepower, transport and supplies, yet in each war were soundly defeated! Of course Israel alone didn’t defeat Egypt and the other muslim nations, the God of Israel did! Egypt is like a woman in fear! The shattering fourfold defeat by Israel is called in Arabic, “al Nakba”, “the disaster”. Egypt is terrified of another war with Israel. The most populous Arab country also fears a Radical Islamic take over! This Prophecy of Egypt’s fear was fulfilled in part by the humiliation of the 1967 war! The Egyptian air force was rendered inoperative, more than 900 tanks destroyed, more than a tenth of the Egyptian army was killed, and the head of the Egyptian army committed suicide! Even Gamel Nasser resigned temporarily! The Muslim Brotherhood, the philosophical and ideological incubator of the current Islamic resurgence is an Egyptian creation in 1928, but was heavily suppressed by the Egyptian government, from Nasser through to Mubarak! Muslim Egypt is an unrelenting enemy of Christianity and of Israel. Within days after the ”revolution” which toppled the Mubarak regime, video was released of the Egyptian army attacking an unarmed Coptic Monastery, shooting people, and pushing over the walls and gates of the monastery with Armored personnel carriers. Frantic Monks could be heard singing “Kyrie Eliason” (Lord have Mercy) in the background! Egypt is the nation which gave the world the Muslim Brotherhood, the grandfather of the modern, murderous Jihad. Al Azhar university is in Cairo, the Harvard and Cambridge of radical Sunni Islam! Al Azhar gives ideological support for Jihadist terror, being the intellectual engine of the current Muslim hate campaign against the west! The Muslim world has in the modern world been radicalized by the writings of Egyptians Sayyid Qutb, and Hassan Al Banna! Islamic Preacher Hassan Al Banna was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood! Hassan Al Banna wrote, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its laws on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet!” Hassan Al Banna also founded the Muslim Brotherhood in Jerusalem in 1945 which is the origins of Hamas the Terrorist Group of Today! Hamas and Muslim Brother Hood are essentially the same thing and often work together to achieve their purpose! In short, the Egyptian people are very influential in the current terrorization of the world in the name of Allah! The Muslim Brother Hood has two strategies, the first strategy is its public face as being a charitable organization, and its second strategy is world domination at any cost! The Muslim Brotherhood has a five-part slogan: 1. God is our objective; 2. The Quran is the Constitution; 3. The Prophet is our leader; 4. Jihad is our way; 5. Death for the sake of God is our wish. In 1948, After the Arab defeat in the 1948 Arab–Israeli war, The Muslim Brother Hood was outlawed in Egypt because a Muslim Brother Hood Member Abd Al-Majid Ahmad Hasan assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Nuqrashi! In 1949 the Egyptian Government assassinated The Brotherhood’s leader Hassan Al Banna! The Muslim Brotherhood also supported the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, but after being implicated in an attempted assassination of Egypts president it was once again banned and repressed! The Muslim Brotherhood then Fled Egypt completely, some of them went to Saudi Arabia and some went to the West including the United States! In Prophecy Egypt has a time of reckoning coming before she can be healed. But Egypt will eventually be healed, Ezekiel 29:8-10 - Therefore thus saith Yahuah; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the Almighty: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it. Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia! Within days of toppling Mubarek, the Egyptian army was firing on unarmed Coptic monks and bulldozing their monastery. Mohammed al Baradai, former U.N. nuclear compliance official, whom secularists hoped would head up a new Egyptian democracy, recently announced that Egypt didn’t ever have a treaty with Israel, Mubarak did. It turned out that the first democratically elected President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi was a Muslim Brother Hood Member! Once elected he suspended the Egyptian Constitution and made himself dictator over Egypt! He made many speeches against the United States and Israel! The Egyptian people eventually rejected Morsi and he went on a rampage killing his opposition and attacking Christians and destroying Churches in Egypt! The Egyptian military ousted the democratically elected President Mohamed Morsi and arrested him for murder and other charges! Egypt’s new de facto leader, General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is who is currently running Egypt and he is against the Muslim Brother Hood! We see that in Isaiah 19 Egypt will experience Civil War-like conditions! This Prophecy may have already been fulfilled during the ousting of President Morsi when Muslim Brotherhood supporters were fighting on the streets against those who were against the Muslim Brotherhood: Isaiah 19:2-3 (KJV) - And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom! 3) And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards! This Prophecy is also seen to flow together with Daniel 11, where the prophet follows the transition from the historical Medo-Persian Empire (11:2) to the Alexandrian Greek Empire (11:3), to the death of Alexander in 323 B.C. and the division of his empire among his generals (11:4). The Prophecy then goes on to detail the intrigue, conflicts and battles that took place throughout Alexander’s former dominion for roughly the next 150 years (11:5-34). In a broad overview of this period of Greek history in the Middle East, a large portion of Daniel’s prophecy is focused upon the historical conflict between the infamous Antiochus IV Epiphanies (the eighth king of the Seleucid Kingdom in the north) and King Ptolemy VI who ruled over Egypt in the south! The Seleucid Kingdom in the north included the region of modern-day Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and even Afghanistan and Pakistan! The Ptolemaic Kingdom ruled Egypt and portions of modern-day Libya and Sudan! All scholars also agree that Antiochus IV Epiphanies is perhaps the most significant type of an Antichrist in the whole Bible! And so, in the later portion of Daniel’s Prophecy, the historical events and wars that took place between Antiochus IV in the north and Ptolemy VI in the south, bleed into a powerful End-Time Prophecy concerning the Antichrist Beast from the region of Turkey, Syria and Iraq (the King of the North) and Egypt (the King of the South). Next, Daniel’s Prophecy informs us that Egypt will first engage the Antichrist’s northern coalition, resulting in a fierce reprisal and the complete subjugation of Egypt: Daniel 11:40, 42 - At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the King of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. … He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape! We are also told that both Libya and North Sudan will willingly submit to the Turkish-led Antichrist’s forces: Daniel 11:43 - He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Nubians in submission! Finally, in the midst of many ongoing regional skirmishes and wars, the Antichrist Beast will attempt to establish the headquarters of his regional authority, or “Caliphate,” in Jerusalem: Daniel 11:44-45 - But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him! Like Daniel, Isaiah also describes the coming subjugation of Egypt by the Antichrist Beast: Isaiah 19:4 - “I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” declares Yahuah, the Almighty! Where Egypt is going from here can only be considered in Prophecy! Something soon is going to happen in Egypt that is so awful, Egyptians will have to flee their own land and live as refugees! The land will be rendered uninhabitable for forty years! Jeremiah 46:20-24 (KJV) - Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north! 21) Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation! 22) The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood. 23) They shall cut down her forest, saith Yahuah, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable. 24) The Daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north! “Yahuah Will Scatter The Egyptians For 40 Years of Exile” Ezekiel 30:3-4 (KJV) - For the day is near, even the Day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. 4) And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down! Ezekiel 29:11-12 - No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries! But despite the sobering and grave warnings of what is coming to Egypt, Isaiah also prophesied concerning a powerful spiritual awakening and prayer movement with many Egyptians turning to Yahuah: Isaiah 19:22 - Yahuah will strike Egypt with a plague; He will strike them and heal them. They will turn to Yahuah, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them! As Isaiah’s stunning Prophecy concludes, both Egypt and Assyria are seen to be greatly blessed alongside His people Israel in the Messianic Kingdom: Isaiah 19:25 - The Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance!” In the days to come, Egypt will be profoundly sifted. But out of the sifting will emerge a strong people fully committed to Yahusha! But Prophecy asserts that Egypt will in the end turn to the living God, and drop Islam once and for all. Yahuah says He will make himself known to the Egyptians, and that they will turn to Him in a time of great distress! In mercy God will reveal himself to them! Isaiah 19:21-22 - And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the King of Hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto Yahuah because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them! And Yahuah shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know Yahuah in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto Yahuah, and perform it! Consequently the Egyptians will make peace with Israel, and after some time, (probably during the millennium), return in mass to their own land. They will be trading partners and brothers, the Egyptians, Israel, and Iraqis! Isaiah 19:23-25 - In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the King of Hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance! “Yahuah Will Regather The Egyptians After 40 Years of Exile” Ezekiel 29:13 - Yet thus saith Yahuah; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered! In the millennium, Egypt is directly addressed by Yahuah Himself. He warns her to make sure she is in attendance at the Feast of Tabernacles, lest he will withhold rain from her! Zechariah 14:16-21 (KJV) - And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles! 17) And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, of Hosts, even upon them shall be no rain! And If Egypt Refuses To Go To Israel Once a Year For The Feast of Tabernacles, (Messiahs Birthday among other things) They Will Be Punished! 18) And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahuah will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles! 19) This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles! 20) In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness unto Yahuah; and the pots in the Yahuahs house shall be like the bowls before the altar! 21) Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the King of Hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the King of Hosts!
