#THE_CHRISTIANS_OUTWARD_APPEARANCE: When Christ sits on the throne of the heart of the Christian, his outward appearance must portray what He demands and commands.....................When a brothers earnest desire is to promote Christ and not carnal self: (i) He will not barb his hair like pop stars, neither will he spot a bushy hair nor bushy beard like cowboys. He will not show his manliness by leaving his chest buttons undone. (ii) He will not put on tight-fitting shirts and trousers, nor will be wear shapeless baggy trousers or oversized shirts, or sag his pants (iii) He will not put on chains, rings, earrings, expensive golden tie clips and cuff links. He will not display golden wristwatch, straps or shoes laced with golden trappings............Also, if a sister exalts meekness and quiet spirit above worldly ornaments, (i) she will not perm or curl her hair at saloons; neither will she attach animal hair to hers nor carry a wig to hide her identity. (ii) She will detest all forms of makeups like painting of hair, fingers, cheeks, lips etc. (iii) She will not tarnish her naturalness with chains, rings, nose-jewels, earrings, and gold trap rings in bags, perforated and low-necked blouses, tight-fitting and transparent gowns and skirts. She wont wear topless or backless. Her skirts must be well below the knees while sitting or bending. Her dresses must not be cut anywhere to expose her underwear. She would never wear slack or short dresses........................................................................Believers outward appearance must not promote sin..Their dressing must be quiet and not loud, but noticeable as to point others to Christ..When our dressings call others attention to our glamorous outlook, we no longer do service to Christ but have become enemies of the cross. FOR AS HE THINKETH IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE... (Proverbs 23:7).
