~ TODAY JASPER IS SAFE AT LAST ~ Today, after waiting such a long time for his chance at rescue, Jasper left the pound on his way to safety. Like so many dogs, Jasper was abandoned before Christmas; why his people chose to turn their backs on him and abandon him, well never know. What we do know is that on his Freedom Ride today Jasper was absolutely delighted to be out of the pound, and his new foster dad Ken said he is the most delightful boy who is full of kisses and cuddles. Tonight Jasper will sleep soundly, knowing that he is now safe, warm and loved after all he he has been through. Thankfully he will never know how close he came to never knowing any of these things again, but we do and thats why we are so, so glad to see lovely Jasper safe. Thanks as always to his pound helpers at JPDUK, his rescue Loving Homes Dog Rescue, his foster dad Ken and his family (Ken is also a PfP volunteer!), and of course all of his Pounds for Poundies supporters who donated £130 to Jaspers PfP piggy bank, and whose kindness and generosity will pay for Jaspers essential medical treatment such as his vaccs, chip and Big Boy Op to get him ready to go to his forever home.
