All the pupils at Escola Munsial {The World School} are eager to meet their new teacher. Helena reveals to her mother that she is a tad nervous for her first day at Escola Mundial. The children arrive at school and begin to play catch-up as well as jumping rope. Maria Joaquina is not mingling with the other students,snubbing all of them and Valeria comments that she looks like a bratty girl.Maria Joaquina is presented to the director of the school, and she says that it is absolutely absurd that there was no one to receive her at the school gate.According to her,the school is also a mess! Helena arrives a bit late at Escola Mundial,but is delighted when she sees the children playing.She then bumps into Firmino.Paulo takes the doll of his sister, Marcelina.Helena is being shown the school compund by Firmino when she sees Marcelina sad, and asks her what has happened. Marcelina tells Helena that Paulo has stolen her doll.Paulo takes Marcelinas doll to Kokimoto,who in turn gives him a box with a frog.Paulo puts the frog on the piano of the music teacher,Ms.Matilde. Seeing Maria Joaquina for the first time,Cirilo falls in love with her,and when the rest of the students call him, he cannot hear them because,he has been enchanted by Maria Joaquina.Firmino takes Helena to Principal Olivia, who asks him to round up all of the third year pupils.Cirilo and Paulo meet for the first time.Laura supports and befriends Cirilo,and Paulo calls her flabby and dizzy.Helena tells Olivia about her school work experience.Olivia takes the Escola Mundial maual and begins to read it Helena.Jaime notices Maria Joaquinas arrogant attitude.Cirilo tells Maria Joaquina that he is happy that they are in the same class..When Matilde opens her piano,and sees the frog she screams. The director introduces Helena to the third year students as a permanenet teacher,and she tells them that she would like to get to know each one of them,but all the students have boredom written on their faces.Helena begins to make a call.The classroom cabinets are locked,and she goes out to look for the keys.Meanwhile,Paulo,Kokimoto and Jaime decide to set a trap for Ms.Helena. Ms.Matilde tells Principal Olivia that the children planted a frog in her piano.Trying to open the cabinets,Cirilo saves Helena and he falls victim to the trap set for her.Olivia goes to the classroom and asks what all the noise is about.Helena puts on warm clothes,and Olivia asks her to accompany her the boards of directors.Marcelina mingles with all the friends she has who hate her brother.Kokimoto tells Adriano and Davi who made Marcelina sad.Helena advises Laura to eat less as it will be difficult for her to shed weight if she doesnt resort to watching her diet intently.Matilde tells Helena that Cirilo stepped on Maria Joaquinas foot on purpose,and Maria Joaquina says Cirilo is a criminal who should be arrested.Daniel then defends Cirilo says he did it unintentionally. Everybody reprimands Maria Joaquina for her arrogance but she says that she doesnt need anyone.When chatting with Helena,Cirilo tells her that Maria Joaquina does not like him because he is black.At the end of the class,all the children go out,and Helena gives a sigh of relief saying she really has a lot of work to do!!!! ====TUNE IN TO CITIZEN TV,FOR THE PREMIERE OF THE BEST COMEDIC SITCOM FOR YOU AND YOU R FAMILY====
