**********TODAYS THE DAY********** March 18 2014 sees the first ever release on CD of two of the three soundtracks from Roberts 1960s television productions. MasterworksBroadway is the only place (at the present) where you can pick up the CD or mp3 of the soundtracks to Brigadoon (1966) and Kiss Me Kate (1968). Hopefully, if this release is a success it may encourage Masterworks Broadway (a division of Sony Music who hold the rights to Roberts Columbia recordings) to release the third soundtrack, Carousel (1967). So please go out and purchase this double album (even if youre content with your old vinyl LPs), as new releases of Roberts material are few and far between and if this one does well it may encourage Sony to re-release other albums. Looking forward to my copies arriving in the next few days........
