*** TOP HEADLINE NEWS *** PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Police are now investigating an incident Tuesday evening involving the car with number plate L1. According to reports, the unknown occupants of the car jumped out and attacked Alonzo Hassel in the district of Fort Willem. The victim is said to have been struck on the head by the bandits. The two bandits who was the occupant of the L1 car commit there crime then left the area but not before threatening to kill the victim. Remarkable was that the driver of the car was a customs officer in her uniform. He was treated at the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) for his injuries. The Minister of Justice Dennis Richardson and the Chief Commissioner of Police Peter de Witte is also said to have been informed about the attack involving L1 late Tuesday evening. L1 is the official car of the Ministery of Justice and it belong to the cabinet of the Minister of Justice and not Customs Dept. Paparazzi BBM News
