#TXST BSB: Texas State entered this weekend looking for a sweep of visiting UALR. After all, the Trojans, who were last place in the Sun Belt Conference, seemed like easy pickings for a team as hot as the Bobcats. UALR didnt cooperate. The Trojans beat Texas State 3-2 this afternoon on Senior Day inside Bobcat Ballpark and took two of three games from Ty Harringtons team. The Bobcats had something cooking in both the fifth and eight innings but came away with only one run in each frame. Senior Austin ONeal had the biggest hit of the day — an RBI double in the fifth inning to tie the game at 1-all. Texas State returns to the field Tuesday night when the Bobcats (28-23) play at Texas.
