Amen August 13, 2014 Todays Devotional Good Morning All, Is The Faithfulness of God Reflecting Through You?... Lamentations 3: 20-27 (topic using these verses 20-27 KJV) 20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. 21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the Lords mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. 27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Have you ever had a relationship with someone who was faithful? You knew you could depend on that person to do what they said. You learned that their word was completely trustworthy. If they said they would call you, they would. If they said theyd be somewhere at a certain time, theyd be there. In fact, if they was late, you began to wonder if they had an accident because it was so contrary to their nature. Its great to have a companion, friends, neighbors and others who are faithful. God is faithful. He is faithful to fulfill every promise in His Word. Sometimes we possibly think God isnt faithful because it appears He has not fulfilled a desire that we have. Sometimes we possibly think He is not faithful because of a crisis event that seems to say God isnt faithful. We must remember that God is concerned about accomplishing His ultimate purpose in the life of every believer than possibly just giving us the desires of our heart. Sometimes this results in hardship according to our thinking. The Bible is full of accounts of Gods faithfulness that was often accompanied by hardship. He brought Joseph out of slavery to be greatly used in a nation. He delivered the people from Egypt and brought them into the Promised Land. He gave Abraham the son of promise late in his life. He delivered David from his enemies and made him a king. In story upon story, we learn of Gods faithfulness. Are you a faithful companion, friend, neighbor, man or woman? The home and workplace needs faithful men and women. Take an inventory of your life today and ask God if you have been faithful with what He has entrusted to you. Be Blessed...Stand for truth as God has said it...
