.... That Feeling ... And it is the night before Labarang and all I can think of is my mothers face ... Every year on this night when she would hear the Taqbeer she would weep , weep with so much sorrow ... I could not fully understand why , for I was so young ... I asked her one day ... Why does she weep so sadly ... And she would reply ... Shes thinking of all her loved ones she has lost ... I only understood ... I only weeped ... The day I lost her ... Now years later ... I find myself sitting in the same way she sat ... My face in my hands weeping for her... O how I miss you mommy and all those love ones who passed , My grandparents , my uncles my aunties , my cousins , my nieces and nephew, my beloved friends and neighbors .... You were loved and I miss you . She simply loved this time of year ..bravely wiping away her tears and off she went inside the kitchen and the cooking and baking would begin .,, and so we do the same . May the Almighty grant all deceased Jannatul- Firdous . And we make duah for peace all over the world ... Thinking of those suffering in Gaza ... Insha-Allah Ameen . Eid Mubarak to All .
