☆~☆ The Deep Secrets Of Goddess Saraswati Revealed ☆~☆ Over two billion devotees worship the World Mother Jagadamba Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom and the remover of obstacles directly, whereas another two billion pay reverence to her through their admiration and love for the virgin Greek goddess Athena, another personification of the Goddess Saraswati. This saintly mother is also worshiped throughout the African continent under tribal dialect names, but the imagery is a darkened form of goddess Saraswati. In a tiny country called Trinidad, she is worshipped by thousands in the form of Lakshmi, Durga and Kali and in one instant she is worshipped jointly and simultaneously in the same church by both Christians and Hindus alike under the name of “Soparee Mai”, a very dark statue (murti) dressed in white. Goddess Saraswati is the mother of all humanity. The Symbols of Saraswati. Saraswati’s purity is characterized and depicted by various symbols of her adornment. The “Veena” represents mastery over the physical organs and over one’s actions. The veena is considered the symbol of life and its strings are symbolic of “feelings”. The “Book” represents the repository of knowledge as well as the dissemination of spiritual discipline and divine knowledge. The “Rosary” is concentration of the mind on God. This rosary is also called the “Spatik Mala” which signifies transparency and the power to see reality. This rosary in her hands has fifty beads, the same as the number of letters in the Sanskrit alphabet. She had complete knowledge on the art of meditation. She is complete with “Gyan and Yoga” and used them as her “bow and arrow”. The “Swan” reflects the power of discrimination and judgment, unattached and unaffected. The white swan or lotus portrays a tower of purity. The “Peacock” is symbolic of worldly knowledge and its colorful feathers represents gains in name and fame and success in general. The “White Lotus” with a tinge of light red signifies purity dignified with graceful activity. Her “White Clothes and White Ornaments” are symbolic of her chastity and her absolute and complete purity. Saraswati and her Eight (8) Divine Activities Saraswati in her role as Jagadamba, the world Mother in the confluence age is the same as that represented by the activities of Durga, Kali, Santoshi, Gayathri, Sheetla Devi, Anarpurna Devi, Uma Devi, and Amba Devi. Mother Saraswati was so spiritually powerful that when spiritual seekers sought her help to remove their obstacles and difficulties, that activity itself was such that it appeared as if she was a separate goddess in the name of Durga. Similarly, when she removed the fear and negativity in others, she appeared as Kali Devi. Therefore, in her other activities, when she gives contentment, she is Santoshi Maa, for happiness she is Gayathri Maa, for coolness is Sheetla Devi, for physical food and health is Anapurna Devi, for zeal and enthusiasm is Uma Devi and when she showers love, mercy and compassion, she is Amba Devi. The deities were human beings with divine virtues and completely pure and their titles of gods and goddesses are written with a common “g” whereas God Shiva alone carries the capital form. It is said that you pray to Lakshmi for wealth, whereas you receive the kingdom of the world from Mother Saraswati, Jagadamba, the “World Mother.” Saraswati’s Spiritual Role and Relationship Saraswati Maa is the most elevated of the deities. She is the embodiment of purity and truth. She attained the pinnacle of spiritual knowledge, prosperity and happiness and is ever non-violent. She is the perfection of immaculate thoughts, sweet words and righteous actions. She has the capacity and divine power to assist every spiritual seeker and to teach them the path of self-realization and transformation. The name Saraswati itself means “to bring sweetness to the self”, for her qualities and attributes are based on her divinity and purity. Saraswati is the embodiment of peace, her nature is peace and wherever she is present, peace surrounds her. Even the elements become peaceful and obey her commands serving her spiritual desires.
