~~ The Lindner List of the 10 Biggest Scumbags of 2014 ~~ (In no particular order, and again, this is MY list. If you think I left somebody out, put them in your own list. With so many scumbags to choose from, limiting it to ten was no easy feat). 1• Ted Nugent — Whose racially charged tirade against the president over the Ferguson situation removed all doubt where he stands. He then went on to have yet another hissyfit when he learned the president had appointed the Rev. Al Sharpton as his Race Czar, which by the way, turned out to be untrue. [Not coincidentally, Mr. Nugent once again takes home the coveted Shit Your Own Pants award. His family must be so proud.] 2• Hamid Karzai — No, no, you dont have to say it. Youre welcome. 3• Dick Cheney — It wasnt enough that he dragged the once good name of the United States of America through the muck by trying to legitimize TORTURE as a matter of national policy, but he continues to this day to lie about the ineffectiveness of those methods, their illegality, and the damage his acknowledged war crimes did to our status amongst the nations. Please drop dead, Dick. Do it today. I promise to pour a few ounces of my best Scotch over your grave -- once Ive filtered it through my kidneys. 4• Benjamin Netanyahu — 2,100 dead in Gaza (3/4ths of whom were civilians), 60,000 more rendered homeless in retaliation for the comparatively insignificant actions of Hamas. According to Bibi, those 2,100 were victims of Hamas terrorism, not Israeli air strikes, along with the 72 Israelis killed in last summers bloodbath (6 of whom were civilians). Possibly the most lopsided conflict in history. How convenient for Bibi to dismiss Israels own history as a precedent for dealing with the Palestinians. 5• Rudolph Giuliani — Former Mayor of the Big Apple, accuses the President of promoting hateful propaganda, and accuses his successor, Bill De Blasio, of intentionally dividing City Hall from the NYPD -- while he himself spews hateful propaganda and intentionally divides City Hall from the NYPD almost daily on Fox News. Extra recognition to Rudy for Hypocrite of the Year Award. 6• Sean Hannity — Perhaps more so than any of the reich-wing propagandists at Fox News (and maybe even including the bloated pustule known as Rush Limbaugh), Hannity is a true believer. Limbaugh, Beck, even Levin will often say outrageous things just to rile up their rabid base, knowing full well its not true. But when Hannity says it, it comes from the heart. Like his audience, hes just dumb enough to believe the outrageous lies hes paid to tell. And Rupert Murdoch pays him $20M to tell them. 7• Ted Cruz — I was tempted to leave this Moonbat off the list, because hes now gone so far off the reservation that even his own party elders despise him. Im almost granting him the-enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend status. But when I consider just what a narcissistic lunatic he is, I decided hed be amongst friends here. Keep doing what youre doing Teddy, everybody left of dead-center appreciates you more than you know. 8• James Inhofe — Quasi-birther, science denier, in the pocket of Big Oil, almost a caricature of the 21st Century Republican Senator. Hes the whole package, all wrapped up in one tidy nut log. 9• William the Bloody Kristol. Lets face it, no list of Ten Worst would be complete without this guy. From PNAC, with love. 10• John McCain — When asked about President Obamas plans for closing GITMO, a position McCain has in the past indicated he agreed with, he said just this past week; Well, first of all, the president continues to violate the law. He did in the Bergdahl case, which required notification of Congress. He just did on Cuba, that he continues to act in the most imperial fashion. But what about GITMO? Who knows. Thats the thing about John McCain; if you ask him about Iraqs WMDs, hell give you a Baghdad weather forecast. If you ask him how many homes he owns, the answer, eventually, is 21, but he has to pull his pants down to arrive at it. Its time to retire Senator. Wipe the oatmeal from your chin, and go silently into that good night. I doubt youre going to have any fewer screws loose in 2015 than you do now.
