Then there is/was that movie circulating several years ago called “The Secret”. This all is related, just bear with me, I love philanthropy. Helping others, asking nothing in return, resonates with me. It is my greatest pursuit in life. I have been able to do this regardless of my financial situation. Regardless if I am pulling down a major success income or just barely surviving. But nothing is truer than this saying, “You can not offer a place to eat or sleep or be restored to a homeless person, if your house is gone, right? Defining my success is to define how capable I am to contribute to our culture, our children, our future to insure a better world. This equation shifts your focus from the materialistic doctrine of possessions and consumption to one of lifting others up by our efforts and fruits. This is truly a symbiotic concept and this is what I want to offer you. This is what inspired the slogan, “Helping you, helping us, helping them. For we are the only species on earth that is willing to sacrifice to help total strangers. It is in our nature. So think about it… Us, my friends, my piers, my resources, helping you so you can join us to help them, our children, our future. I will be writing more about this tomorrow.
