♦ The PURGE arrives in Manchester City Centre! ♦ It is terrible to see such scenes from Manchester city centre; I think the police are being heavy-handed in what was a straightforward and peaceful protest. I have been disappointed with Peter Fahy, the Chief Constable of the Greater Manchester Police and that disappointment deepens when I see his officers using unnecessary force. I realise that the more pro-Zionist Councillors from the City Centre have encouraged the notion that protestors are extremists, but these brave individuals arent. They are simply raising their voices for a people who cant defend themselves. That should be applauded, they should be knighted and showered with honours, not sat on by policemen who look like thugs in police disguise. You want to know how much? Over a MILLION pounds over the last few years. Yep, £30,000 for 4 protests vs over a million pounds #GoFigure. What I also find intriguing as someone who has applied for Freedom of Information requests in the past, it normally takes ages to receive information from authorities. How the MCR Evening News managed to get the £30,000 figure in no time at all is a quite little miracle, #Justsayin. If youre as upset as I am about these images then pleas write to your local councillors, local MP and to the police to make your complaint. And if you were at the demonstration and have evidence then please use it, please take the police to the tribunals - the law is not above the law, you know - and keep fighting for justice, because if we give up the good fight then injustice has won. #FreeManchester #FreePalestine #ICC4Israel #BDS
