. The bad news is that I fell down some stairs today, while at lunch away from work. They were concrete and I was holding a heavy bag, that I never let go of. The good news is, I only scraped and bruised one knee a little. But...my neck, which Ive had a crick in for weeks, released. And that reminds me of some neighbors I had. They were honeys into their late 80s. Nita and Soapy Noster. She accidentally lowered the garage door on him and hit him in the head pretty good. He came over to tell me about it and said, THE FUNNY THING IS, I HAVENT THOUGHT CLEARER IN YEARS! Thats love for you...to find the good. The day we moved in to that neighborhood, I was 8 months pregnant with a one year old. Nita came over, introduced herself and brought me a big pan of yellow squash casserole with a spoon and insisted I take a bite right there and then...standing in my front yard. IT WAS DIVINE and I have made it many times since, always with the memory of her sweetly in my mind.. She loved to say, GET OUT OF TOWN!, when you told her something extraordinary. They were some of the coolest people I ever met. And then there was Boo Radleys yard...but thats a story for another day.
