With the bleak art, we can protect our homes and villages from the predation of our neighbors without sacrificing the lives of the youngest members of our society; we can automate simple and manual tasks to free our minds and our lives to pursue loftier professions and heights of expression; we can even stave off the death of the mind and preserve our greatest thinkers and artisans to continue into eternity working for the betterment of all.
