: The federal government needs to be reminded by the states as to which entity created which! The collective states actually have the power to defund the federal government, even disband it- -THEY CREATED IT! By the power vested in the states by Article V of our Constitution, the collective legislatures have total control of the federal government, should 3/4 of the states legislatures agree! I am not a constitutional authority, but I am trying to become one- -I can read the simple language in which it was written. Some of it is imprecise, but most of it isnt, leaving very little to argue about. Yet, there will always be those who will deny that it says what it says, especially the 1st and 2nd amendments. When there is doubt about the intent of the framers, there is no better source than the Federalist Papers, largely written by Alexander Hamilton, writing 49 of the 85 separate papers and collaborating on at least a dozen others. For anyone who is interested, the last dozen paragraphs of Hamiltons Federalist #85 spells out the function of the Article V convention of states, by which the collective states can have sway over the federal government.
