The launch of Hind Express at NSW Parliament was attended by the Parliamentarian dignitaries Victor Dominello (Minister for Citizenship and Communities, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Veterans Affairs, and Assistant Minister for Education), Geoff Lee (MP Parramatta), Charles Casuscelli ( MP Strathfield),Melani Gibbons ( MP Menai), Julie Owens ( MP Parramatta) supporters and well wishers. Hind Express is the first community newspaper representing Hindu community all over Australia. With reference to Census 2011 majority of the Hindus are residing in NSW and Victoria. At present Hind express is targeting NSW audience and distributing 7000 hardcopies free of cost and eventually it will go up to 15000 in coming six months covering Victoria as well. The evening was well hosted by Sydney’s favourite MC Nitin Madan.The event started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Victor Dominello and Julie Owen, followed by the official opening of Hind Express. The team of Hind Express ( Mr Jawaharwala Jugandeep, Mr Supreet Singh and Mr Amandeep Grewal) honoured the dignitaries, team members and its supporters. The event concluded with the energetic performances by Q Boys, Rooh Punjab Dee and Swastik Dance School.
