His work has been accorded more honor than all other picture endeavors of Hollywood. His productions have given the world more entertainment than the product of any other single individual. When the final history of this business is written, its first pages will be devoted to Mr. Walt Disney and the many little pen and ink characters he has created for the enjoyment of the world. It will be recorded that he is the only genius this business ever fostered during our day.” William Wilkerson, founder and publisher of The Hollywood Reporter, wrote the above on the eve of the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Carthay Circle Theatre.
