“Their HEARTS are DIVIDED, now they shall be found faulty; He shall break down their altars; He shall spoil their images” Hosea 10:2 When a prisoners hands and feet are bound, what would it matter, if just his hands were freed, but his feet remained bound and chained to the wall? Wouldnt he still be a prisoner?! Christ has purchased us, spirit, soul, and body! Therefore, we must be wholly devoted to Him. We cannot give our left hand to the devil; while our right hand tries to hold onto that of Christs! Christ never went in halves with a man yet! He did not climb halfway up Calvary! He did not take half the stripes so as to heal only half our diseases! He did not stretch forth only one hand and one foot to be nailed to the cross! So, why do we try to give Him only half of our hearts?! Lord, we are, but willing vessels; if it be Thy will; break down our false altars or arrogance! Spoil our imaginary images of self-importance! Consume our false assumptions of conceit! Lord, mold us with Your Mighty Hand! Yes Lord, shape us upon the Potters wheel; for here You truly are, our Wheel withing a wheel! Amen
