“Then the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him." So Satan departed from the presence of the LORD.” Job 1:12 God let Satan attack Job’s possessions BUT not touch him. You may ask why… and the answer is in a verse earlier…“The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil."” Job 1:8 God, in essence tempted Satan with Job! God knew Job’s steadfastness and temperament so He touted about Job to Satan… The battle is between Satan and God and we (without God) are pawns in a play…but with God, we are victors!! God knows those that are His … in this case “My servant Job”…. Do you know how you will stand? …. I do!
