(Theology chat for those interested) Dad and I ran in to a few nice folks when doing outreach at the park a few weeks ago. Gene and Paul, with a few others were handing out items for Catholicism. (Those of you that know our outreach, we only try to bring people to Christ, and dont have church fliers and such.) I usually stay away from debates once the gospel is given, but if someone is asking questions, I feel the need to show where doctrines are found. Paul did ask questions that he says he is seeking the truth too, so I will post them on his behalf... 1. Where in the Bible does it say the Bible Alone is the Sole Rule of Faith?, in light of things like 2 Thess 2:15, 1 Thess 2:13? 2.Where in the Bible does it say we are saved by a Faith Alone? 3.is Your interpretation of Scripture Infallible? In light of verses like 2 Pet 1:20, 2 Pet 3:16? 4. Where in the Bible is the word: Trinity? Its not there, yet you believe in it, right? So where in the Bible does it say, For something to be true, it must be in the Bible?
