==There is no freedom of religion because any scientist that believes in creationism is not allowed to present their theories == - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There are some scientists who present unverifiable or unsubstantiated claims about Creationism but there are *no* scientists who believe in Creationism and present real scientific theories about it.. There is no Scientific Theory of Creation. There are rigid criteria that must be met before something can be a *scientific* Theory. 1. The Theory must be a detailed *explanation* of something that is indisputably observed and measurable. (It must not be a speculation or a hunch about something that cannot be observed or measured or about something that has no effects that can be observed and measured.) 2. All the terms must be unambiguously defined. 3. The Theory must be able to make predictions that can be tested and either verified or falsified. These tests must be capable of replication. The various Theories of Evolutionary Biology meet these criteria but there is no explanatory Theory of Creation that comes anywhere close. In summary, scientists who believe in Creationism are perfectly free to present Scientific Theories on Creationism. If they do so they will be heard and examined in the same manner that any other Scientific Theory is heard and examined. So far there have been no starters. The only thing about Creationism that can be legitimately taught in a science classroom is an explanation of why Creationism is not real science. Understanding the difference between real science and religion, ideology and pseudo science is an important part of a post basic education in science.
