“There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want” (Proverbs 11:24 NASB). You would think the way to get ahead would be to hold all your money to yourself, but this is usually not the case. Employers may get ahead for a while by skimming from the wages justly due to their employees, but they will lose good workers and eventually will be found out. You may try to get ahead by not paying back your loans and credit cards, but the late fees, over limit fees, and interest will just keep increasing the amount you own.
