{Thief of Joy} Sometimes the smallest fractures can cause the sharpest pains. My mind, heart and emotions have these hairline cracks that seem to be taking the longest to heal. The major bleeding has been stitched up and now all that remains on the outside are faint scars. But, the tiny painful fragments of trauma still deep within creep up and stop me in my tracks somtimes. They are like little reminders that the healing is not yet complete and the battle to become whole is not yet over. Lord, Im thankful that the suffering Im feeling in this moment is nothing compared to the original traumas I first experienced. However it still brings me sadness, confusion and disruption to my peace of mind. Please continue to heal my brokenness. May it bring you glory.
