[Thirty years ago while living in Phoenix this caregiver was introduced to the lovely gazania, a flower that can at times look like the Sun. See what you think and give feedback if you want. These flowers are all from the little starts planted by angels from central Illinois just two months ago] This couple has a busy day ahead on this beautiful day. The Queen is sleeping underneath several layers as the temp inside the house fell to 65 degrees and the temp outside 53 degrees when her husband awoke. It was a beautiful night to sleep with the windows open and the fan blowing – probably the most restful night of sleep in a while. Today the high will be a cool 70 degrees, which for July 15th is darned unusual. There is going to be a roadmap meeting conference call and this caregiver will be sharing his thoughts on the advocacy part of this battle against MSA. What are the necessary steps needed to ensure medical professionals have, in most cases, even a rudimentary knowledge of the disease? What can caregivers do to contribute other than care for their patients? Other issues will arise but with less than four months left advocacy and education will be front and center during this call. Enjoy your day. Once again, if you have any ideas to contribute please do so by commenting. Those comments are important no matter what.
