A Discussion of The Three Ps Regardless of which area of our life we are called, we may be assured that commitment, perseverance, persistence and passion are the signposts along the way that will help guide us on the journey. Dr. Arleen will share ideas from this incredible book whos ideas are so relevant in transforming our lives - thats this Sunday at 10:30! Our guest soloist will be CHARYN CANNON who is here for the first time and will be accompanied by JIM MANIERI on the piano Charyn is a native of Columbus, Georgia. She studied Music Education and Communications at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She continued her educational pursuits and received a degree from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Artist Development and Promotion. Charyn has worked with gospel artists Donnie McClurklin, John P. Kee, Vickie Winans and the legendary, Shirley Caesar. She has been a featured vocalist for jazz artists Najee and Dave Koz. Charyn has also worked with B.B. King, Lionel Richie, Patti Austin and the late Phyllis Hyman. Her musical theatre performances include A Tuna Christmas (Springer Opera House/Columbus, GA); Black Nativity (Atlanta Civic Centre (Atlanta, GA); Crowns (San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego, CA) and Dream girls (Liberty Theatre (Columbus, GA). She is currently playing Mama Morton in Chicago: The Musical. THIS SUNDAY, OUR 10:00 HEALING MEDITATION WILL BE PRESENTED BY REV. HOBBIT FORREST. This inspiring meditation is held from 10:00 to 10:15. We urge you to be there not later than 10 so as not to disturb the meditation. It is held in the West Wing meeting room. Youll want to be here on Sunday (and bring a friend) to not only hear a dynamic and inspiring message, but also to celebrate with us as we join together in bringing our thoughts into alignment with our greatest possibilities for creating a world that works for everyone. ELWOOD J. Werner - American Painter Stop by our Lobby Art Gallery to view these special panels. Elwood Woody Werner has created two 6 foot panels, dedicated to the people who died during the tragic 9/11 events, culminating in the demise of the World Trade Center buildings and forever changing the nation. He has elected to show as many of the faces as he could on this artwork and he created these pieces purely for us to remember these men and women who died innocently and without reason or provocation. These pieces will be shipped to New York City for display after they leave our Center. Fine artist and painter Elwood J. Werner was born in New York and attended Cooper Union with a scholarship, graduating with a BFA in Fine Art, studying with the famous painter Will Barnett. He went on to work 25 years as a Master Engraver of both silver and gold for Tiffany & Co. in NYC until retiring to Fort Lauderdale. His past clients included Elizabeth Taylor, Elton John, Barbara Walters, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, The Shah and Empress of Iran, The White House, Presidents [Carter, Reagan, George W.
