"This Sunday what is going to happen in buildings is the most widespread, cultivated and accepted idolatry since the days of the Greek and Roman empires. It will be filled with people, and altars, feasts to glorify their gluttony, shows to display their hideous, sensual rituals and verbal addresses to edify none but the depraved. In the evening, there will be fewer who gather to burn the incense of entertainment to their pathetic idols and think that they do God a service through their devotion to a vain and wicked thing. This Wednesday or Thursday, yet fewer will gather for another round of the same unholy practices and shall go home thinking that they have gone the extra mile. All of these will die one day and burn in Hell remembering that when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, and became vain in their imaginations, turning the image of the incorruptible God like unto corruptible men. They will yell and scream names of people they have known throughout their lives who they thought were Christians, and tragically, many will answer them. They will be left with their thoughts for an eternity of eternities and they will never ever forget every Sunday they spent going to church. Such is their end." Paul Washer
