Youve become addicted to fresh beginnings with promises of happily ever after, so desperate for love, while your true love (Jesus) patiently sits on the sidelines waiting for you to notice that what He did on the cross gives you full access to his heart & all that it comes with. Your grief is grieving the holy spirit especially when you make an idol of relationships. Not only because God is jealous for you, but because it pains Him see you give yourself away to to people who were just not meant for you, but you keep on searching & every boy that dangles the shiny new carrot of I could be the one in front of you actually ends up working against you in the long run. You end up having to recuperate your ever breaking heart instead of just giving it fully unto Jesus & allow Him to nurture it & in His perfect time give it to the man (not boy) who has the gumption, patience, determination & spiritual maturity to go after Jesus only to ask Him Lord, may I spend the rest off my days w her? Sisters, dont sell yourself short. Dont look at all your married friends & pine over thier relationships. Dont fall into the its not fair! mentality. You see sister, a real man of God is not looking for a woman to be desperate for him. Hes look for a godly woman hidden deep in the heart of her savior. I promise you that If you were to transfer the efforts you give into looking for a spouse into a deeper prayer life, the default of that would be a heart thats filled with holy satisfaction, void of loneliness & finally rid of that wretched stench of desperation. Sister! You are an heiress to the kingdom. Your Holy Fathers daughter! Jesus himself has wrapped you in the cloak His righteousness & has made you white as snow. Sister!
