This is a country where seven law makers in an assembly of 26 impeached a Speaker whereas the law says you need 18 or two third majority. We were all in this country when three law makers sat down and were trying to impeach a governor of a state.Look, let me tell you, if it had happened,( Speaker of the House of Representatives been impeached) that is how it would have passed .....Hon Zakari Mohammed, the spokesman for the House Reps, on page 54 on Sunday Vanguard of today, in justifying the conduct of Hon.Memebers in the face of provocation by the Police, and why some of had to scale the fence. I dont quite agree with Honorable Zakari Mohammed, because we have a plethora of cases where such illegal removals and impeachments were reversed by the courts, the case of the Deputy Governor of Taraba state of this week is still fresh in our minds. The Honorable members should have excersised some restraint and be law abiding, but they failed,beaved true to type, and they are not to be blamed. They acted by the much they know, and the DNA they carry! I think the problem in this countrys leadership is not due to lack of education, but due lack of moral education,and the absence of moral character foundations among our political leaders, and people in governance. The moral education and content of a man makes him a good or bad leader. We need people with strong moral education and strong moral character foundation in politics and leadership in Nigeria for us to reach that Nigeria we deserve to grow. The criss -crossing within and among parties , the phoney impeachments, politics of do or die, all the impunity we see today, are the dividends of democracy under the watch of moral illiterates and persons of weak moral persuations, in power and Leadership positions in Nigeria! Nigerians will soon reject such persons at the polls with time. Just like ten years ago, no one would believe that we will have Boko Haram, so also many will not believe that ten years today, corruption, impunity, immorality, foolish and wicked religious and ethnic agendas will be rejected by Nigerians!
