((This is somewhat longer)) Many are still learning - I know Im still learning. Im glad to say that we can always learn from The Lord. If we follow and stay in Him, we will never stop learning. I confess that these past few months have been different for me than in the beginning - there is so much more contemplation and consideration it seems - even more of a reverence, even in things I read. Im reminded of the scripture that says to work out our salvation with fear and trembling - and in that Ive come to the revelation of how real it is that we must be wise and lean on The Lord for all understanding for all things. Seeing as there are so many people teaching things and many are sincere people, yet, they teach contrary things to one another - and other people who are severely politically minded about things of God and His Word; treating it all as if its a great debate on winning the office of some position in government - with slandering and much strife and contention. Ive realized how important and Im still realizing more and more the importance of all these things and what we teach people must be right, because we are all going to give an account. Lately, I dont think Ive thought of hell much, but, how real God is and that though He is so merciful, He does have a standard that must indeed be met (which is why we have His Holy Spirit, which is our Helper) and His mercy and grace is to be utilized now, which is in this time we still have here in our human bodies which are not glorified - many teach things that are scary and heretical and they dont know - so I wondered now, is it wrong of me to wonder if I could be wrong in areas? To ask The Lord to point those things out, and pull me back so I can gain true understanding of The Truth and to make sure its not me just analyzing things myself. No doubt I have received true revelation from The Lord, and many still have not understood it, and call it false, or would insinuate such a thing - and it is hard to explain to them because they seem to shut up their minds and hearts from receiving it - but, Ive gone through opposition as many of us do, and have seen many viewpoints and been through discouragement in a few places now - by people who can seemingly write great theological outlines and thesis statements, and seem to drive those very hard against their opponent - But, then you think; and while seeing so many compromise from position to position, tossed to and fro, that statement makes just as much sense as the opposing statement; they both sound right, even though they completely obliterate one anothers view points - and then you might think to yourself; while hearing and reading about the method in which it is preferred that one should study...... Did the Holy Spirit really have anything to do with these things? Did these men really get a revelation from the Spirit of God? No, they probably did not - they learned how to pick and choose and compare in a very brilliant way; just like Einstein was brilliant, but, its the science of human rationality at best in most cases. The fascination with scholarly theology has run rampant - studying the theologians methods are more fascinating to men more often than actually waiting upon The Lord it seems. And everyone seems to say or insinuate that they were led of the Spirit..... Seeming that many do not test the spirits, but, may be giving heed to seducing spirits. Something to think and pray about to The Lord; may He have mercy and strip the pride away. Human understanding only caters to human understanding; The understanding from God caters to them who are forsaking themselves for Jesus Christ. Its time to start knowing the difference.
