"This morning I awoke to news that Kenya-Uganda-Rwanda-Sudan agreed to build a gas pipeline originating in Sudan that will pass through all 4 countries and take steps to build the railroad everyone have been talking about for ages. #Burundi doesn’t stand to directly benefit from either projects as they will both end in Rwanda and Kenya. Unless our legal representation i.e. the government actively partakes in, initiates this and other regional efforts to our benefit the sad reality is we will end up being a backwater member within the EAC"
