This year several Ellis County high schools will host the Ellis County College Career Fair. The following high schools are hosting this exciting event: Avalon, Ennis, Italy, Midlothian, Milford, Palmer, Red Oak and Waxahachie. It will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Waxahachie Civic Center. Numerous colleges, universities, career institutions and military branches will be on hand. This is a great opportunity to stop by the college tables, visit with representatives, pick up brochures and ask questions. “Please come join us,” said Bryan Frye, Ennis ISD Secondary Academic Dean. The counselor’s from all host schools will be on hand to answer questions. Something new this year is student registration. All students planning to attend are encouraged to register before going. By doing so this provides additional time for the students to connect with the college representatives.
