#Thisiswhatwinninglookslike Please watch this video to educate yourself about the reality of war in #Afghanistan. It is important to never sanitize suffering. We must know the plain truth in all of its bitterness, horror and grotesque debauchery. Only then are we in a position to implement change. When I see the failure of elected officials such as the #USAmbassadortoAfghanistan to think critically and engage in meaningful fact finding just to save face and serve their ego, I reconsider my reluctance to join the foreign service. If such obscene incompetence is considered apt foreign policy, then #WEthepeople need to accept our role in creating such intolerable conditions.
