#ThoughtfulMode I saw this somewhere and watched it out of curiosity! I agree with the views expressed 100%! Live and let live! I mean that for both the Christian and Moslem divides in this country! For Petes sake, people have got the right to be stupid. Heaven o, hell o, with all he in-between ideologies, we have the RIGHT to choose whatever or whichever to believe, or even abstain, and take the consequences of course of whichever choice we make. INSISTING everyone must agree with your views, align with your ideologies, flow with your values using whatever instrument of COERCION is foundationally wrong. Try to CONVINCE not COERCE! Im a Christian and I tell you this; Im totally sold on the instructions and injunctions of Jesus Christ from now till I die. But make no mistakes about it, Im not going to judge anyone who differs from my views and belief! Heck, I love associating with people from ALL sides, learn the much I can from EVERY SOURCE, if for nothing else, to re-enforce my belief in Christ! I also love my Islamic friends that wanna hear more about Christs teachings to encourage themselves in their Islamic faith. If we all meet in the same heaven, the more the merrier, but if it is in different heavens, I probably got to own more mansions then on account of the reduced numbers at least. Not a bad idea considering I love space and Nigerians usually own at least two houses: one in the villa, the other in Town or city of residence. How does The Book of Books put it again sef, ..... let it be done on earth, as it is in heaven, so if we are owning two houses here on earth, Pastors and Bishops inclusive, is it possible we are mirroring as it is done in heaven since at least these Bishops claim they have direct dedicated lines to heaven and hear heaven clearly? My pastor knows better than to question me over this choice of thought! And as for my atheist friends, seems they just cant deal with the whole Big-Man-In-The-Sky thing at all. I respect their courage to make peace with the idea that no one, seen or unseen controls their life or destiny in any way. Personally, I cant do that. But I love and respect them, wonderful human beings, nice souls (now that would be soooo unatheistic cos souls are supposed to be spirits on some levels!) and impeccable ethics. These fellas are one of the most focused fellows you will ever come across in your life. They might have acidic tongues as a child of necessity, but look not for trouble and thou shalt get none! However, just like some annoyingly naive live-and-dont-let-live Christians and Moslems wont let them breathe fresh air, can they also quit deriding some of us that choose to believe in God (whichever version)? Making people look stupid cos they believe in God isnt especially nice to say the least. You got the courage not to believe in God, and God-believers got the courage to accede the controlling authority of their destinies to Someone Else. Both take great courage, got it? Christians, at the risk of loosing my deacon seat, lets quit the despicable judging of people of different faith, despisement of ideals not in agreement with ours, putting down any culture different from ours! Did God not make all things? Abi him make mistake? When The Book said ... And He saw that it was good, was that a mistake? Or did He create some more after creation, hence made a mistake after He had already said .... it was good? This your-way-or-nothing-else aint right at all. Matter of fact, then there will be no need for hell at all, cos defaulters are supposed to populate there. Try to CONVINCE with your lifestyle instead of COERCING with different shades of fear mongering, mind control and sundry tricks. The least you could do is let God do His job, not weakening His omnipotence by appearing to aid Him. My Moslem brothers, those who want to put a Fatwa on my head, go right ahead! My last name is not Methuselah nor Enoch, I will die one way or the other. But, pause a moment and ask yourself, DOES ALLAH NEED TO BE HELPED? Does He need to helped to convert people to His ways? If yes, then you just declared Allah is not omnipotent! He can do whatever He wishes as omnipotent! Or is He not? Then, why fight wars in His name? Why would someone be sympathetic to the course of prior denigrating the Power of Allah by declaring they are fighting=helping Him? Fighting for Him means He cant fight for Himself, He needs help! No, Allah is Omnipotent as he Koran puts it. He can fix Himself, He is Allah, He doesnt need human help. Anyone saying he is helping Allah is saying Allah needs help. Its that simple. Ogun/Shongo/Amadioha/Igbe and other peteshi followers, una case dey Yaba left as far as Im concerned cos you guys dont define stuff! What is your principle of good and bad? Any group that REFUSES to condemn those using its name to commit evils is in itself potently evil. For starters, you guys should go to the villages and restrain those old men and women chasing us city dwellers with their REMOTE means! They are the reason pastors are the richest group of individuals in this Nigeria! Just scream, VILLAGE WITCHES and you gain unlimited anytime access to peoples purse! No inboxes on this one please! At best, I will read and delete the message so that I cant even respond even if I wished to.
