#ThoughtsOfTheDay Im really tired of this Mike Brown & Ferguson - TopicsExpress

#ThoughtsOfTheDay Im really tired of this Mike Brown & Ferguson story. Its the Trayvon Martin incident all over again. The black community outraged by this racial profiling and police violence towards innocent unarmed young black men. Just stop. Youre wrong. Just like you were all wrong about Trayvon Martin. All this rioting and looting and posts people are making are ridiculous, and at the end of the day you all will look dumb and forget about it. Well, until the next incident occurs and they repeat the same cycle. Was is tragic that Trayvon Martin was killed? Yes. But his behavior ultimately led to his demise. The same is true with Mike Brown. The portrait of the kid as an unarmed, innocent, college-bound youth ruthlessly shot while trying to surrender is incomplete at best. No, its not a character assassination for the police to release a video of him robbing a convenience store minutes before his encounter with that police officer that shot him. According to the police chief, the officer mightve not even known about the robbery. BUT it is relevant, Brown himself certainly knew what he just did. His behavior toward the officer stopping him for jaywalking very well could have been affected by the fact that Brown committed a robbery and shoved a clerk. According to the officer, Brown physically assaulted Wilson prior to the shooting. The officer attempted to get out of the car, but Brown pushed him back into the vehicle. Brown then physically assaulted him and attempted to grab the officers weapon. He was reportedly injured during the encounter, and one side of his face was left swollen. The officer also reported that he pursued Brown and told him to stop, he turned around and ran full speed towards him even as shots were being fired. If this was the case, then legally the officer was justified under the defense-of-life and fleeing a violent felony standards. There was a objectively reasonable belief that there was a threat. Conveniently, Mike Browns friend and other outraged witnesses that have been interviewed have a different story. But listen to the audio of this video from the scene of the incident. https://youtube/watch?v=VdL9dqkyjhM#t=357 I know everyone always says Im negative or pessimistic, or that I go against the grain. But those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it. Our perception usually works on selective basis, people end up believing more in the group they follow even if they arent sure about it in the beginning. When people form a group they usually infect each other with their incorrect beliefs and together they come to see an even more distorted reality. Those with fewer brains are easily incited. These folks in the black community and everyone caught up in these stupid cases are only perpetuating hate and pushing an agenda. How about being there for the black community ALL OF THE TIME, when you know better you do better!
