“Thrive” Hello Friends, Normally at this time I’m - TopicsExpress

“Thrive” Hello Friends, Normally at this time I’m usually giving a chapter from the Word of God but today I feel led to do something different. I want to share with you what the Holy Spirit reveal lately to me concerning “Thrive”. This word caught me by surprise by its meaning. Now lately I’ve been seeing this word on several occasions but never really took the time to really find out what it was define as. I assume it meant to push through but boy was I wrong. The actual meaning to the word thrive is as follow. “to prosper, grow or develop vigorously;” or to “be fortunate or successful and flourish.” What an eye opener this was!!! Now before I get to deep into this message, I just want to say that there will be a video along with this message. I love Casting Crowns and all they stand for. You’ve seen me saying to put God first in every areas of our lives? Well I really do feel that Casting Crowns actually try and do that. Because every song I’ve ever heard from them, has an anointing power that I feel can only come from God. But this message isn’t about Casting Crowns. Even though I will be sharing one of their song with this message. This word “Thrive” has been circulating around me on a regular basic and I feel God is telling me that we need to learn to grow as one together with Him(Matthew 5:24 & 2 Corinthians 5:19-20). This kind of goes along with what I’ve shared most recently but God sent JESUS, our Lord and Savior, His One and only Son so that we could be reconcoile through Him with the Father (Romans 5:10 & 2 Corinthians 5:18). All through the Bible I see scriptures and passages on being reconcile with the Father through Christ. So the only way to be reconcile with the Father is through Christ. When I first started reading the Bible, my intentions was to get to know my Father in Heaven. And there wasn’t nothing at all wrong with my intention. But the more I read, the more I realize that in order to know the Father, I must first know my Lord and Savior. Not only did I learn to know Him, but I also learn that well, Getting to know God isn’t about religion. Instead it’s about having a relationship with the Father and the Son. Far too long because of the denominations faith, each have made the walk with God the Father and the Son a religious thing. It’s not about religion at all, it’s about being reconcile with God by the crucifixion of Christ. Without JESUS there would be no reconciliation with the Father because the Father, the Holy Spirit and the Son are as one. Now, I know I’ve said a mouthful here but I feel it’s a important part of this message. In order to grow, we must first be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. That is, we must first want to die out to the flesh and start trying to walk in the realms on the unknown (the Spirit). It’s going to take will power and it’s going to take dedication. But in order to grow in the Spirit, it has to be done. Now I’m not saying for you to kill yourself or anything like that. What I’m saying is that we need to get more like Christ minded and less of the way the world does things. This can be done but only through Christ. This is why we must study His Word and pray for His guidance and help. Now I’ve said all this because some people feel like they’re in a rut and can’t get ahead. Know that this is not God’s plan for you. You see, He know the thoughts that He has for you, His thoughts is for you to have peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end and expectation (Jeremiah 29:11). Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2). But first, in order for God to do this, we have to study to shew ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). My whole point to this message is that we were made to be so much more than what we allow ourselves to be. We limited God’s movement in our lives because we think that just because this is how it is in this world that we’re suppose to accept it as truth. But know that even though we live in this old world like a ship is abiding in the sea, we’re not of this world such as the ship is not of the sea. So when you watch this video and listen to the song, keep in mind that how God moves in our lives depend on how much leash we give Him. My challenge to you is to take off the leash and let God move in your lives as He wish. Then and only then will we thrive. Have a bless day and enjoy the video. Love in Christ!!!
