#Throwback a long way to my first @fiscrosscountry #WorldCup in 2009 in #Whistler. Im the skier leading the group in red. Our group was a long way behind the leaders. We were 28 kilometers into a 30 kilometer race. The person I hit was @usskiteam sports psychologist Jon Hammermeister, working in the feed zone. Im not exactly sure what happened. You can see me take a feed from another U.S. Team coach before I hit Jon. The Russian coach standing behind Jon was pretty far out in the trail. My best guess is that I decided to go to the right of the Russian and never saw Jon. Its tough to think clearly after 28 kilometers of racing. After I finished the race I didnt remember that this incident had happened until one of my teammates asked me if Id apologized to Jon. The Same Team remark at the end of the video was put in by the race organizers to indicate that there wasnt an infraction. This video was put together by the TV production crew for the race to be shown at the Team Captains meeting along with the infractions. #FirstVideo #TBT #crosscountrycanada #SkiCrash
