‘Tis the Spring season and there is no better way to welcome it than an outdoor festivity and a day of fun in the sun to celebrate the jovial moment with the City of Ekurhuleni. The City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with Soul Candi brings you another mega installment of the Spring Fiesta. The 4th Spring Fiesta is one of the flagship entertainment festivities that continue to position the City of Ekurhuleni on the tourism map as one of the best destinations to do business and to have fun. The stage is set and on the 4th of October Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg will be buzzing with all sorts of musical entertainment. Festival goers are set to experience an array of musical extravaganza with a star studded lineup unleashing only the best of local and international acts on six stages, guaranteed to captivate the crowd all day long. According to City of Ekurhuleni’s Spokesperson Themba Gadebe, the Spring Fiesta is one of the many events the municipality hosts to promote social cohesion and co-existence. “This year’s partnership with Soul Candi will give aspiring Dj’s and artists an opportunity to be part of an exciting learning programme that consist of four interactive workshops to equip the next generation of the music industry leaders with foundational tools to start their journey,” explains Gadebe. The spring fiesta festival is known for bringing international heavyweight house DJ’s to serenade the crowd on the Soul Candi main stage. This year is no different as well-known and loved Layabouts featuring the songbirds Imaani and Portia Monique will again be gracing the event as the international guest artists.
