It will provide a platform for officers from the member countries; to exchange their expertize and experiences of governance and to devise a way to improve it. The idea is mooted by Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Kathmandu who is there for the sixth meeting of interior and home ministers of SAARC countries. 2- Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle Corp, has quit as the CEO of the software giant after a 37-year long reign. 3- RBI wants public sector banks to segregate the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) to improve corporate governance. It also recommends a separate committee for appointment of directors on the board of PSU banks.
