#TransferNews Arturo Vidal agent will demand Manchester United move Manchester United fans have been on tenterhooks as the Arturo Vidal transfer saga continues to rumble on, and today brings more reports from the midfielders native Chile that the transfer could well happen soon. Vidal appears to be at the very top of the Red Devils transfer hitlist this summer, with a wide array of reports suggesting that they could be homing in on a deal despite Juventus claiming otherwise. Bid It was reported on Monday that Manchester United had made an official £48 million bid, while Chilean newspaper El Mercurio claimed yesterday that a verbal agreement between club and player was in place. Now today the same newspaper say that Vidals agent, Fernando Felicevich, will hold talks with Juventus today, informing them of his clients desire to join Manchester United this summer. Turning point How Juventus will react to that remains to be seen, but if El Mercurios reports are true then it marks a major turning point in Manchester Uniteds pursuit of the the 27-year-old. Previously, Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has insisted that they would have no problem breaking the transfer world record this summer, so presumably they would have no issue with coughing up the sizeable sum for Vidal that Juventus are likely to demand. Overhaul The Red Devils squad overhaul is already well underway with both Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera on board, but boss Louis van Gaal will be anxious to get some big-name players on board in order to kick-start his revolution in earnest. They have been linked with moves for a host of players including Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Arjen Robben and Angel di Maria but none of them look likely to be turning up at Old Trafford this summer. Winning ways The 2012 Premier League champions will also be keen to avoid a repeat of last summer under David Moyes, where they left their business until the last day of the window having missed out on a host of top targets. If things arent going exactly to plan in the transfer market then the Red Devils are faring much better on the pitch. Van Gaal has guided his charges to three wins from three, ahead of a clash with Real Madrid on Saturday.
