#Transition: Kerr #Fracking Well Pad - Spud Rig - Chief Gas - 9-24-14: Published on 27 Sep 2014 What I saw with a friend across from the Kerr Farmhouse in Lathrop Twp., Susquehanna County, Pa...this gas pad has been operating for about two years....correction: I thought it was a repair rig, but now found out its a spud rig, drilling a new well, the initial drill hole before the big rig comes in to finish the drilling; so, more activity, after several wells drilled in 2010 and now more being drilled. so, the process starts again....this site has DEP Violations of defective casing and gas migration into the water table in 2010....see marcellusgas.org for DEP info on gas wells and look up Kerr for this site...
